Q. Can I use address labels on invitations?

A. Even if you’re having a very informal vow renewal, it isn’t appropriate to use address labels on invitations or thank you notes, including return address labels. If the occasion is important enough to send a paper invitation, then the addressing of them should be handwritten. If your handwriting is completely terrible, you could print the addressing information directly on the envelopes using calligraphy software. But, it must look like real calligraphy, not just a typical computer font.
